Air source heating with Cornwall Eco Heating?

 

Air source is the perfect heating solution for any home or workplace, all our systems also have the option for cooling for those warm sunny days, or maybe even your home gym or conservatory. In fact we have many clients choosing these for there conservatory's for that exact reason, most conservatory's are to hot in the summer and to cold in the winter, our systems turn this into a space that can be enjoyed all year round.

Most of our air source heating that we fit in Cornwall are nearly 500% efficient meaning for every 1kw of electric used you will get 5kw of heat output compare this to electric heating that at best is 1kw in 1kw out you can start to see how efficient these units really are.

How does it work you ask?

​

• The unit absorbs heat from the outside air and transfers it into a liquid refrigerant 

• This liquid refrigerant is turned into gas in the process 

• Using the compressor it compresses this gas, heating it up 

• This heat is transferred into your heating units

• As the heat transfers, the gas condenses back into a liquid and the cycle starts all over

• These units can still pull heat from outside air at sub zero temperatures ​

What makes air source heat pumps super low carbon

Air , we are surrounded by it and its the main thing that these pumps use to create heat. And what's more of a renewable resource, if there ever was one.

 

 

The unit does use some electricity to run ,it isn’t completely carbon neutral. It just uses electricity more efficiently than traditional electric heating units and is generally more environmentally-friendly than any other heating system.
